Showing different prices online than on the lot? You NEED this tool!
|
immediately remove a vehicle sold to a "lot up" from your website without calling your website company or 3rd party listing services. Simple items are sometimes the best upgrades. Polling a DMS system can be either an asset or a liability. At ChromaCars.com we have added several new webware upgrades to ease the pain associated with digital inventory polling management. Imagine a non-internet "Up" making a purchase on your lot at a price higher than listed on the internet ( a practice many dealers frown upon but who are we to judge). This creates a need to immediately remove that vehicle from your website and (by the next morning) from all 3rd party sites. Our newest "dealer request fulfilled" is a locking feature that "locks" or "unlocks" a vehicle (at dealer's discression) without removing it from the system. By simply clicking on the "lock " icon you block it from feeding or updating any 3rd party classified or listing services including your website, AutoTrader.com, Cars.com etc. Reasons for this are easy to explain and I'm sure you're all going oh Yeah. Great for those cars that haven't made it into the DMS or maybe a Consignment that never will but you want it on the web. By simply putting the car into the system then locking it the entry will stay put instead of selling out of the system the next time a poll or outside update comes in.
Other Features used to help.
Price locking you want a car to remain at a certain price regardless of Polling pricing,
You want a car to be removed from the system but yet the vehicle hasn't been funded and is still in the DMS poll. Manually selling a car out of the system will remove it from the system and will not permit it reenter the system other than thru manual assingment.
These and other features where built with the help and input of our Dealers. I would like to thank our dealers for giving us Ideas and suggestions to make our Inventory Management system both user friendly and truly usefull. |
